Division Of Work

What We Handle, And What You Handle

The process only works when the split is clear from the first call. Here is exactly where our time goes, and how little of yours it takes.

What We Handle

The filings, the research, and the follow up

  • Choosing and filing the right entity for your route
  • EIN registration and the state paperwork behind it
  • Researching the permits your products and locations require
  • Sales tax registration and the filing structure around it
  • Location agreements and the contracts that protect your revenue
  • Renewal dates tracked so nothing lapses while you are working

What You Handle

Four things, and none of them paperwork

  • A thirty minute call to tell us your state, stage, and setup
  • Signing where a signature is legally required
  • Telling us when you add a state, a product, or a location
  • Running your route
Come Prepared

What To Have Ready For The Call

Nothing formal, and nothing you need to prepare in advance. If you already know these, the thirty minutes goes a lot further.

  • 01The states you operate in today, and the ones you are eyeing next
  • 02What your machines sell, including anything regulated
  • 03How many machines you run, or plan to run in the first year
  • 04Whether you already have an entity, an EIN, or any permits filed
  • 05Whether you own the machines outright or share revenue with a location
  • 06Any deadline you are working toward, such as a location start date

Timeline Expectations

Processing timelines differ by state. Some states complete filings within days. Others require several weeks. We will provide a realistic, state-specific timeline estimate during your first call and keep you informed throughout the process.

What we guarantee: we work as efficiently as your state allows, and you will never be left without a clear status update.

Before You Start

Questions Operators Ask Us First

Do I need to have my machines already?

No. Plenty of operators come to us before the first machine arrives, and that is usually the cheaper order to do things in. Setting the entity up first means your first location agreement is signed by a company rather than by you personally.

What actually happens on the free strategy call?

We ask about your state, what you sell, how many machines you run, and where you want to be in a year. You leave the call knowing which structure fits, which permits your products trigger, and what the sequence looks like. There is no obligation attached to it.

Can you help if I already started and got it wrong?

Yes, and it is common. Operators come to us with an entity formed in the wrong state, machines placed on a handshake, or sales tax that was never registered. We work out what needs correcting, in what order, and handle the filings from there.

How much of this do I have to do myself?

Very little. You sign where a signature is legally required and answer the occasional question about your route. Everything else sits with us, and you get a status update rather than having to chase one.

What happens when I expand into another state?

Tell us before the machines move. Placing machines across a state line can trigger registration, permit, and tax obligations in the new state, and it is far easier to file ahead of the placement than to unwind it afterwards.
